Little pink houses..,

Image
So....that is not going to get changed! Can't believe I didn't see that I had two similar houses together.   Well this has been fun putting these together but now the pieces all over the place are driving me crazy so I must get this put together....as is!! :) This is from the Hillside Houses QAL @ Pretty Little Quilts. I just grabbed a bunch of Kona and went for it without using the coloring sheet. Yep, there ya go!   Linking up with Kelly @ My Quilt Infatuation

This Week=Too many irons in the fire

One of the things on this weeks to-do list is this cute little Economy block for the SewCanShe Classic Blocks-Fresh Fabrics group HERE. I love this fabric and thought it might be fun.  See the scrap of the owl...well both ends of my fabric cut has half cut blocks. Why? Not useful but I still might use them somehow because they are too cute to throw away. Next up... A whole bunch of strips were made for this Robert Kaufman Kite Flight pattern. I don't really like how it is put together but I have started so must continue. And a recap with our winning quilts from the LateNight quilters SuperNova Friendship Block Swap. Jennifer Under the Juniper tree and I got together with our two quilts and too some fun photos.     Yep, there we are ...just two sewing sisters. So happy to have met Jen and that we live close enough to hang out! Whoop Whoop!! So many things to work on and so little time. It is National Quilting day at the International Quilt Study C...

Friday Finish and PQ 6 = #2

Here is my Project Quilting season 6 project #2 entry held by Kim of Persimon dreams . The challenge this week was Sunrise/Sunset.  I used this tutorial from Melissa Correy over Happy Quilting . It is her Off Kilter quilt. I loved it when I saw it so I knew it was a dream quilt for me. This PQ challenge allowed me to do the theme and do a dream quilt. Bonus: all the fabrics including the backing and batting were all in my stash. You only have a week to do the challenge so this was extra easy this week. I drove over to the park by my sisters house and the sun was so bright I could not see so I went under this tree to shoot. In those few minutes the clouds rolled in and that was the last of my sun. So this version with the yellow to the top is my sunrise side....and if you flip it over  ....you see my sunset!  A park walker stopped to help me since the wind came up too. :) Thank you park walking lady!!!! Sunrise.... Sunset       ...
