Blogger's Quilt Festival Time - He Said, She Said

Image
I am so excited. I missed out on entering in the Blogger's Quilt Festival last time and want to make it in this year.  I am entering in my recent finish "He Said, She Said" because I made if for me and I love it so much!!  "He Said, She Said" Love 24"x 24"approx. This has 28 shades of grey newsprint/fabric and 1 piece of green fabric that is variegated.  This is the second time I made up this pattern by Liz Havertine from the LA Modern Quilt Guild. I just love it so much I know I will make it again but maybe bigger? I entered this little one into my local guilds "Shades of Grey" challenge.  Matchstick quilting with 6 shades of thread I had some fun taking photos at this old building that used to have a complete sign for Best Flour on it. So fun to get out and see things in the neighborhood. So thankful many people let me crawl in their bushes to get some photos!  haha You can see my original post  HERE ...

Love" 24" x 24" This has 28 different gray shaded fabrics in it. The text fabrics I have collected and some focus on sewing and literature for me and phone book listings and newsprint for my husband. And...green is one of my fav colors.  6 shades of gray thread used to matchstick quilt it.  I used this as one of my entries into the ...
