Finish it up Friday- "He said, She said"
Out on my morning walk yesterday I found that someone had accented this building with just the right color to go with my wall-hanging! I have seen this building in many states of graffiti but this was so cool. The sun is a little bright but that is okay with me.
This is the pattern by LA modern guild member Liz Harvantine. I just love it. I made a version of this wall-hanging earlier this year for my niece for her wedding and called it "And there is love". I focused the text print in the center on the words "& Love" HERE and just went with a wedding theme.
My version is called "He said, She said.... Love" 24" x 24" This has 28 different gray shaded fabrics in it. The text fabrics I have collected and some focus on sewing and literature for me and phone book listings and newsprint for my husband. And...green is one of my fav colors. 6 shades of gray thread used to matchstick quilt it. I used this as one of my entries into the 'Shades of Grey" challenge for my local guild.
...and the wind was blowing. ha Well I went with it. This was so fun to photo shoot. This one looks like I stuck my quilt on there but the wind caught it and made it look at a wonky angle.
