Finish..Yeah!!! Photo...Not so much

Well as I was finishing the last corner of binding this morning the phone rang and some of my family was in town to have lunch. I was done but did not knot and snip. I was so happy to go out to lunch and shop but I was knew I was not going to have daylight left for a quick pic.
So here is my finish in bad lighting. I am okay with that because...hey I got a FINISH!!! wooohooo

This is the Retro Ruby quilt top from the QAL that Alyssa Lichner hosted a while back.  I actually won a prize from my quilt top but I really wanted to get it done and bound. Today was the day!

Some scraps and one reverse block on the back. The quilting curves was harder than the piecing of the curves. :)

This turned out so great! I really like the quilting design you chose because it highlights the quilt blocks without being distracting. I like the back too!!

You sure have every right to be proud of this finish, Kris! I love the design and the colours you chose are perfect. I love quilts with curves. Your backing is great - nice that you did a reverse block! Very clever. And very nice quilt!
