ALYoF April finish - Enchanté



My year of Lovely finishes for April was just completed as the sun was going down behind the neighbors trees. I was able to take a few pics. 

"Enchanté" - Little Black Dress by Basic Grey 
49" x 51"
Charm pack quilt plus a couple fat quarters and some black grunge and floral yardage.
Straight line quilting.
 
 
 
I used some left over charm s for the piecing of the back. I love the fabrics in this collection. I tried to mix other fabrics of my stash in with this fabric collection but I just kept coming back to the collection pieces. I am glad to make this a finish. I have already collected some of Little Black Dress II for another idea. :)

Project Quilting Season 5 - #1

  So excited that Kim over at  Persimon Dreams is hosting Project Quilting again this year. It was so fun last year and I accomplished a lot.  This year I had so many ideas for this first Challenge. I wanted to do something more arty but when it came down to it I really need to make lap or baby size quilts for some of the charities I contribute to. 2019 Online Quilters Meet and Greet

I am so excited to be taking part in the 2019 Online Quilters Meet and Greet organized by Victoriana Quilt Designs! P.Q. 15.6 theme Irish chain

I did a simple Irish chain for this weeks challenge theme for Project Quilting. I made this free pattern before and you can read all about that  HERE . I made this in a kid size mainly because I had limited neon fabrics. I have enough strips cut to make bigger but my goal was to make quilts for kids that I could donate to organizations. So in the end getting this one made this week (also I have had some kind of flu for 2 weeks) is a win! Some of these mostly black prints have been in my stash for a long time so really want to keep working on my stash.  Simple criss-cross quilting. 39"x 49" approx.
