WIP Wed = Curve it up

Last night at a guild meeting I gave a demo on using the Quick Curve Ruler by Jenny and Helen @ SewKindofWonderul. I don't have many rulers but I purchased this one to do a sewalong that Jenny was doing on her blog. I quickly fell in love with the easy piecing. I was sewing curves and they were turning out every time.  No I am no affiliated with them at all but the ruler really makes curve piecing so sew easy!

Some of samples from the class. I really love the stacked wave piece and I think that has lots of possibilities.

There is my finished Abacus quilt that I will blog about for my Lovely year of finishes so far this year!
The demo was fun and a few actually sat down and tried piecing it and all were successful! :)

One new member, won the QCR giveaway. She was afraid of curves but no more......

These blocks are beautiful. I was afraid of curves too, but no more. This ruler is awesome!

Looks like a good investment. Really like the Abacus quilt! Is that using the same ruler?

I wish I could have come to the meeting last night, your blocks/projects are cool! Maybe after this musical is over I will have some more free time!

I would have loved to be there, Kris! Looks like there was a lot to see and learn from. Your curves are so pretty! Lovely variety of different blocks. And your Abacus quilt is simply gorgeous!

I love that first block! I think I'm going to have to invest in one of these rulers at some point, everyone raves about them.

It really is a fantastic ruler, isn't it? I love it! I'm actually about to start the quilting on a custom order that used the QCR. Love that curved churn dash block, too. I'll have to play with that sometime soon.

I love those blocks! I have been too chicken to use my Sew Kind of Wonderful Quick Curve Ruler! I may need to put that on my 2015 goal list.
