April Report Card and WIP
I had a productive month. I didn't think it was going to happen but somehow the starts were aligned (in more ways than one) and several things came together.
First I tried out my new Curve Ruler from Sew kind of wonderful.
3rd - Catching up on some Charity quilts:

2nd - Modern BOM 2 block by Alyssa for Sew Mama Sew
My version called "Box Out"
And my second version called "In and Out"
3rd - Catching up on some Charity quilts:
Craftsy BOM 2012 - 6 more blocks used above
2 preemie flannel backed blankets for Lincoln Quilts for Kids group
2 boy quilts made to go to my guild project Cuddle Quilts
and one to go to Lincoln Quilts for kids.
One I gave to a friend to have her mom try her hand at the binding. I hope to get that back soon so I can donate this bundle.
4th - A year of lovely finishes project for April was to finish my half hexi green quilt. Yep I got'er done!
5th - Project Quilting off season challenge was "What is your sign?" Mine is Cancer so I did a little constellation quilt using Anna Maria Horner prism pattern that my quilt guild gave out for the month of April.
Another project from my quilt guild was to try our hand at a paper pieced star pattern from QuiltJane blogspot. I made a lovely pillow for my Grandmother's chair.
Plus I did manage to get out my Skillbuilder BOM's and do some FMQing on last months.
What a productive month if I have to say so myself. :)
WIP right now:
Modern BOM 2 - Block 2 is a stained glass type block. I sort of set up a personal challenge to make a charity quilt out of each block I try. Last month I made 2 because the block was so fun. This time I think just one is in order.
And I am also slowly working on the Skillbuilder BOM with both blocks having tons of handwork it is taking me a long time.
Happy May Day Everyone ...let's go sew!
