Polka Dot Bikini QAL progress
Here it is, Feb 20th and the goal was to have quite a few blocks done on the Polka Dot Bikini QAL with
Sharon @Colorgirl Quilts.
Adding cornerstones on the 16 center blocks. Not sure of my color choices yet but I am going with it for a bit to see how it plays out in the outer border pieces and little squares which will be more Kaffe prints. (I think)
This is a lot of curve piecing and I was skeptical about doing it. I bought the pattern back when Sharon posted it for sale on Craftsy. I just wanted to have it. The thing about having and then doing it are clearly two different things in my book. I wanted to have something to show for it. I pushed to get this caught up in the last two days. What is funny is for some reason I have two other quilt projects in the works already this week. Sometimes it just gets crazy and you get a lot done. Sometimes not! This time I am and glad to be progressing this far.
